Malkhaz Kakauridze, general director of FC “Wit Georgia”, told “World Sport” that today management of the team is going to meet former captain Giga Bechvaia and other players.
“We watched scandal on TV. We are astonished. We will investigate this issue. I think, one or two players participated in match-fixing. I cannot exclude that Bechvaia did it alone. As for Kasradze who was substituted in “Wit Georgia”-“Sioni” match at the 14th minute, we did not have any doubt about him because he really hurt his foot at the training. When Kasradze asked for substitution, he was substituted by midfielder Maisashvili. What happened today is a great insult for “Wit Georgia” – stated Kakauridze.
