On October 5, Malta national team held first training at Mikheil Meskhi stadium in Tbilisi. On October 5, at dawn they arrived in Tbilisi, went to hotel "Tbilisi Marriott" and at 19:00 they trained at Mikheil Meskhi stadium. The training was open for only 15 minutes.
Head coach John Buttigieg trained 18 players. During these 15 minutes, Maltese players gathered in the center of the stadium and listened to the coach. They ran a little and started playing "squares".
They seemed to be in the mood. They were laughing and joking.
On Wednesday Maltese players will train at Mikheil Meskhi stadium at 19:00. On Thursday, one day before the match, they will train at "National" stadium at 21:00.
Euro qualifying match between Georgia and Malta will start at 21:00 at "National" stadium on October 8.
