Georgian youth judo team took the first place at European Cup which was held in the city of Greece, Mudania. Head coach Gia Gugava took 31 judokas to Greece. 11 judokas stood on the pedestal. Georgian youngsters won 4 gold, 1 silver and 6 bronze medals.

Giorgi Mesablishvili (55 kg), Shalva Ninidze (81 kg), Giorgi Mermanishvili (90 kg) and Levan Matiashvili (+100 kg) ended up European Cup with gold medals. Lasha Shavdatuashvili (66 kg) lost the final. The following judokas won bronze medals: Leri Chelidze (55 kg), Vaja Margvelashvili (60 kg), Otar Archvadze (66 kg), Giorgi Tsnobiladze, Elguja Bibilashvili (both 100 kg) and Ushangi Kokauri (+100 kg).

The team of Gugava will stay in Greece for 3 days and will participate in joint trainings.
