Today, on March 4, Arvydas Sabonis, president of Lithuanian Basketball Federation and legendary basketball player, Paulius Motiejunas, executive director of the federation, Besik Liparteliani, president of Georgian Basketball Federation, and general secretary Merab Ratishvili held a press conference at “Radisson” hotel in Tbilisi. During the press conference it was announced that 5-year plan of cooperation between Lithuanian and Georgian Basketball Federations will be worked out. Sabonis will meet Levan Kipiani, minister of Sport and Youth Affairs, at the ministry at 13:00 today. Later, he will meet Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili.
