Now Levan Kobiashvili is at the meeting of “Hertha” in Turkey. Few months are left and he will complete his active career. He said to Morgenpost that he still has the passion of the game and until he plays he will do his best. “Kobi” said that he has never played in such a strong character team like “Hertha”.

Levan was reminded the won match against “Dortmund” – 2:1, in which he played without substitution as a central defender. In fact, he completely disconnected Polish star Robert Lewandowski from the game.

“The atmosphere was wonderful at the stadium. As for the position of central defender, this was a decision of Jos Luhukay (coach)”.

Kobiashvili has worked with many strong foreign specialists, however, in Germany he was Volker Finke’s apprentice for the most time. “Freiburg” former head coach, probably you know that now he trains the Cameroon national team. Levan says that he has frequent contact with Finke:

“Taking part at the World Championship is any coach’s dream. So was Finke too and his dream came true, however he is not satisfied with the group: Brazil, Mexico and Croatia are with Cameroon”.

Levan noted once again that he is not attracted to be a coach – this is not in my nature. However, “Kobi” noted that he stays in the football sphere.

“I am going to return to Georgia. Football in my country has many problems. I want to contribute my experience in the development of Georgian football, to use the experience which I gained in Germany”.
