Levan Kobiashvili, defender of “Hertha” Berlin, has turned 36 years old and the official website of the club dedicated an article to the Georgian legionary.

The author mentions that Kobiashvili has been playing for “Hertha” since 2010 and 2012 was the toughest period for him. The club relegated to 2 Bundesliga and the football player had a 6-month disqualification.

“It was the toughest period in my career and I did not want everything to end up this way. I decided to continue career and I am happy that I did it”, - Kobiashvili told the Berlin website. He has held 336 matches in Bundesliga.

According to the website, half year was very tough for Kobiashvili because he could not help the team. But however he was spiritually strong and showed his high discipline. Jos Luhukay, head coach of “Hertha”, highlights high professionalism of Kobiashvili.

Kobiashvili returned in the match against “Union” and after a month he played in lineup of “Hertha”.

“These were wonderful moments which convinced me that I did well”, - stated Kobiashvili who is a great authority in “Hertha”.

The 36-year-old defender named the reason why he does not end up his long and successful career:

His dream came true and besides this, Kobiashvili dreams that he and his family were healthy. According to the website of “Hertha”, Kobiashvili wants to have a coaching certificate.
