Last week, duet of Georgian Nikoloz Basilashvili and Bulgarian Boris Bakalov played in the final of Brownsville tournament (15 000 USD). Now they started participation in Harlingen tournament but they have already lost the first match.

No.4 seed Georgian-Bulgarian duet could not win over Argentines Ortiz and Trunjelit and lost 1:6, 2:6. In the first round of single’s tournament, No.8 seed Basilashvili played against American Aaron Iovan.

Georgian girls could not achieve success at the tournament (10 000 USD) which is underway in the city of France, Lyon. Like Sopo Kvatsabaia, Sopo Shapatava and Tatia Mikadze lost their matches. Shapatava lost against American Sachia Vickery (3:6, 2:6) and the second one – against Russian Yana Buchina 3:6, 6:7 (3:7).
