Davit Kvirkvelia, player of Georgian national team, signed one year and half contract with Greek “Panionios”. Official website of the club spread this information. It has already been decided to sign the contract but Kvirkvelia has a visa problem and he managed to arrive in Athens yesterday.
“Panionios” is in the 13th place at Greek Super League but the team strengthened this winter – Czech forward Vaclav Sverko and Greek forward Kostas Mitroglu joined the club.
So, Kvirkvelia and Shashiashvili (“Ergotelis”) – two Georgian players will be in Greek Super League.
Davit has held 37 matches in Georgian national team. He played for “Kolkheti
Poti, “Dinamo” Tbilisi, “Alania” Vladikavkaz, “Metalurg” Zaporozhye, “Rubin” Kazan and “Anzhi” Makhachkala.
30-year-old Kvirkvelia transferred to “Panionios” as a free agent.
