“Kochebi” Tbilisi beat “Jikebi” in play off decisive match of Juvenile League A 2010 and became a champion of this tournament.
15 teams with rugby players born in 1992-1993 were in staff of these teams. There were two groups consisting of these 15 teams and they played for one circle. Six best teams played in the first gourp, those teams are the following- “ Jikebi”, “Lelo”, “Academy”, “Shevardeni”, “Universiteti”, “Lokomotivi”, “Mutrukebi” Telavi and “Skola 2” Kutaisi. “Kochebi
, “Armazi”, “Xuligana”, “Skola 1” Kutaisi, “Kharebi” Rustavi, “Guria” Lanchkhuti and “Tao” Akhaltsikhe participated in the second team.
“Jikevi”, “Lelo”, “Academy” and “Shevardeni” went through the play off from the first group. “Skola 1”, “Kharebi”, “Kochebi” and “Guria” went through the play off from the second group.
“Skola 1” and “Jikebi” went through the first round very easily. “Skola 1” won first match 31:6 and the second with such point 40:10. “Jikebi” defeated “Guria” 64:0 and “Guria” refused to play in the second match. “Kharebi” beat “Academy” 28:22 in the first round and in the second match 14:6 and went though the semi final. “Kochebi” beat “Lelo” 19:9 in the first match and in the second match which was very tense “Kechebi” won with such point difference – 8:6.
Semifinal was more interesting. A match between “Kochebi” and Skola 1” finished with draw 10:10 and in the second match “Kochebi” beat their opponent 16:15. The second couple of semifinal was “Kharebi” and “Jikebi”. “Kharebi” managed to beat heir opponent 13:11. But in the second match “Jikebi” took revenge to their opponent and beat them13:10. One point was decisive for both teams which went though the final.
For bronze medal “Skola 1”Kutaisi played against “Kharebi”. “Skola 1” won bronze medal 26:13.
Two teams of Tbilisi played against each other in final match of this tournament. “Jikebi” advanced with drop kick at the 4th minutes but they could not use realization and the first half finished 10:3. Finally “Kochebi” became champion with such point difference 18:11. Garuchava, Tsutskiridze and Kereselidze tried from champion team.
