In the central match of the 11th round at XXII Georgian Rugby Championship, "Wissol-Kochebi" beat champion with minimal difference but another matches finished so that "Lelo" has a guaranteed place in top four.
"Lelo" lost a won match against "Wissol-Kochebi". In the first half both teams played equally but "Kochebi" were the first to score a try. They were left without one player. Gugava managed to score a try and the first half finished draw 11:11.
The second half started with attacks of "Lelo" which was proceeded by sin-bin of "Kochebi" and scored penalty of Kiasashvili. Soon Makharashvili had a chance to restore balance but he did not shoot correctly. At the 59th minute, Nikolaishvili ("Kochebi") scored a try and Makharashvili used conversion. Soon after this, "Lelo" scored penalty, then Makharashvili
prevented "Lelo" from scoring a try and he was sin-binned. This was followed by a 5-meter scrum of "Lelo". "Kochebi" stopped the scrum by committing a foul and they were punished with technical try but Kiasashvili did not kick conversion on time - the ball rolled.
Soon Kiasashvili missed the penalty but Joglidze used mistake of the opponent and scored try, though, Kiasashvili could not score conversion. Then Adanaia ("Wissol-Kochebi") scored try and Gegenava used conversion. At the last minute, Makharashvili kicked the ball and "Wissol-Kochebi" won 28:27.
"Lokomotive" was winning over "Batumi XV” after the first half. "Batumi XV” scored 2 tries and conversion at the beginning of the second half. But they were scored 2 penalties and "Lokomotive" won 33:24. "Academy" and "Armazi" played draw, "Aia" Kutaisi was beat 3 times in a row. After the 1st half, they were winning over "Kharebi" in Rustavi but finally, they lost 12:16.
