Kamsky among Georgians

BAKU OPEN 2010, one of the strongest international tournaments, takes place in the capital of Azerbaijan, Baku. Prize money of this tournament is 60 000 USD.
Champion will win 10 000 USD from prize money, the second place winner will win 7 500 USD and the third place winner - 5 000 USD. Woman champion will get 600 USD.
158 chess players from 12 countries (Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, the USA, Belarus, Germany, Turkey, Iran, Israel, Russia, Georgia, Ukraine, Czech Republic) are competing in this tournament. Famous American Gata Kamsky (2713), Ukrainian Evgenij Miroshnichenko (2686), Jewishes Emil Sutovsky (2665) and Ilia Smirin (2646) and Azerbaijani Rauf Mamedov (2660) are among players.
After the host country, Georgian delegation has presented numerous players. 12 Georgian chess players are participating in the tournament. 11 from them has already celebrated victory in the first round.
Only Davit Jojua (2530) finished draw. Konstantine Shanava (2556), Malkhaz Sulashvili (2498), Gaioz Nigalidze (2478), Lela Javakhishvili (2469), Luka Paichadze (2467), Davit Magalashvili (2465), Shota Azaladze (2443), Iveri Chigladze (2375), Giga Kuparadze (2345) and Giorgi Khelaia (2115) won in the first round.
