This morning Georgian national basketball team went to Israel. They will held 2 test matches there. The Georgians have already met Israel in the current preparatory period. The team of Kokoshkov won over the rival 79:77 at the international tournament in Trento, Italy on 9 August.
Georgia and Israel will meet each other on August 26 in Eilat, and 28-in Haifa. The Georgian basketball players held 7 test matches, in which they won three and lost four matches. After Israel our national team will leave for Kaunas, Lithuania and will play against the national team of this country.
Georgian team went to Israel with 14 players, and they will go to the European Championship with 13 players. One of the 2 naturalized players must leave the team and 12 players should be in the list of European Championship in Slovenia.
