Georgian tennis player Oksana Kalashnikova plays successfully at the Istanbul tournament (Turkey, 25 000 USD).

In the first round Kalashnikova defeated Ipek Soylu of Turkey 6:4, 6:3 and Zuzana Zlochova of Slovakia 6:4, 6:3. The Georgian earned 14 ranking points and made through to semifinal.

Kateryna Kozlova of Ukraine will be the next rival of Oksana. The Ukrainian won over Mari Tanaka of Japan 1:6, 6:2, 6:3.

In ¼ final of doubles draw Kalashnikova and Lyudmyla Kichenok of Ukraine will face Sezer of Turkey and Tinjic of Bosnia.
