Georgian tennis player Oksana Kalashnikova will play in final of the Istanbul doubles draw (25 000 USD).
Kalashnikova and Lyudmyla Kichenok of Ukraine made through to final without losing even one set.
Oksana and Lyudmyla defeated Sezer of Turkey and Tinjic of Bosnia 6:3, 6:1. In semifinal they beat Eraydin of Turkey and Kulichkova of Russia 6:1, 7:6 (7:0).
In final the Georgian-Ukrainian pair will face the Ukrainian-Slovenian tandem which won over the Turkish duet 6:4, 7:6 (7:4).
Kalashnikova and Kichenok earned 34 ranking points. In case of winning the tournament, they will gain 50 points.
Oksana is in the 62nd place with 1440 points on WTA doubles ranking. It is the highest ranking among the Georgian tennis players.
