Georgian tennis player Oksana Kalashnikova beat host Saisai Zheng 7:5, 1:6, 6:3 in the first circle of the tournament (25 000 USD) which is underway in the city of China, Kunming. Oksana went through 1/8 final where she will play against No.8 seed Chinese Jin-Jin Lu.

Last week, Georgian No.2 tennis player played against Lu at Sanya tournament (25 000 USD) and beat her easily 6:3, 6:4.

In ¼ final of doubles tournament, No.3 seed Kalashnikova and Ukrainian Beygelzimer played against Austrian Mirkovic and British Webley-Smith and lost 6:4, 0:6, 8:10.

No.2 seed Sopo Shapatava beat host Lea Toley 6:4, 6:3 in the first round of Amiens tournament (France, 10 000 USD). Shapatava will play against Dutch Eva Vakano in 1/8 final. Sopo Kvatsabaia lost against No.4 seed Italian Gioia Barbieri 1:6, 1:6.

Ekaterine Gorgodze could not beat Belarusian Ilona Kremen at Antalya tournament (Turkey, 10 000 USD) – 1:6, 1:6. In doubles tournament, No.4 seed Gorgodze and Belarusian Milevskaya will play against Bulgarians Gledacheva and Shiniova.
