Georgian tennis player Oksana Kalashnikova went through the final of doubles tournament which was held in city of China, Guangzhou. But she could not manage to win the title. Kalashnikova played with Ukrainian Julia Beilgelzimer and won three matches before the final. Georgian-Ukrainian duet beat Taiwanese Chen and Chinese Hans 6:4, 6:4 in the first stage. In the ¼ final, they won over No.3 seed Japanese duet (Aoiama-Fujivara) 6:1, 6:2 and in the semifinal they beat Chinese players (Liang-Lu) 7:5, 7:5. In the final, Kalashnikova and Beigelzimer played against the host duet (Liu-Sun, No.4 seed) and lost 3:6, 2:6. No.6 seed Georgian tennis player lost against Shengnan Sun 5:7, 3:6 in the first round of singles tournament.
