International tournament Continental Class Championships 2010 finished in the city of Arlington state, Crystal City. The tournament was held in 8 sections. Georgian chess player Giorgi Kacheishvili (2568) competed successfully in the main tournament of grand masters. Kacheishvili won 5 matches and played 4 draws within 9 rounds. He collected 7.0 points and became champion. It is worth mentioning, that in the last round Giorgi beat Russian Aleksandr Shabalin (2589) who had the highest rating. Shabalin took the 2nd place with 6.5 points. Russian Gregori Kaidanov and Sergei Kudrin shared the 3rd places with 6.5 points.
It is worth mentioning, that prize money of the tournament was 100 000 USD. Kacheishvili won 10 000 USD.
