Jordania: "I Wanted to Win the Dutch Championship but the Policy of "Chelsea" Bans It"

A few days ago Merab Jordania stated the policy of “Chelsea” forbids “Vitesse” Arnhem to become champion of Holland. The former owner of “Vitesse” told Dutch De telegraaf that in the previous season “Vitesse” could have won the championship but “Chelsea” did not let the club do it because it would harm the interests of the “aristocrats”.

Everybody knows “Chelsea” and “Vitesse” are closely related to each other. Four football players are sent on loan from the London club to “Vitesse”.

Jordania: “I wanted to win the Dutch Championship but “Chelsea” would not allow this. The ambitions are good but we were told “Vitesse” could not play at Champions League with “Chelsea”.

“Chelsea” made an official statement about the words of Jordania: “Vitesse” is an independent club and we will not make any comment on this issue”.

Here is the statement of “Vitesse”: “The statement of Jordania is more like April Fool’s Day joke. Competitive elements are key roles in sport. Like other clubs, “Vitesse” wants to win any match and tournament where it plays”.

The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) is going to investigate this issue. The officials want to know if “Vitesse” was forced to fulfill commands of “Chelsea”.
