In Junior World Chess Championship Georgian Sopho Guramishvili (2298) won 4 rounds one after another and got the 6th place in junior tournament. In the 7 th round Guramishvili beat Greek Ekaterine Pavlidu (2182) with white pieces and collected 5.5 points. She is still one point behind leader Anna Muzichuk (Slovenia, 2527)

In the 8 th round Sopo will play against Gulnar Mamadova (Azerbaijan, 2260), who also has 5.5.points. Guramishvili will oplay with white pieces. Nini Unafkoshvili (1997) could beat Lithuanian Migle Lepeskaite and got 3.0 points. She is in the 54 th place among 81 participants. Her next competitor will be Croat Zrinka Deuri (2061, 3.0 points).

Turkish Emre Chan (2477) beat Georgian David Lomsadze (2364) in cadet tournament. Davit was replaced to the 51 th place with 3.5 points. Georgian chess-player will try to improve situation in the next round where he meets with Hungarian Tamash Fodor (2452).

U-20 World Championship contains 13 rounds and will finish on August 16.
