Igor Tudor: "Hopefully, We Will Score Goal against "Dila" in the Second Leg"

Igor Tudor, head coach of “Hajduk” Split, stated that “Dila” Gori did not deserve victory in Croatia in the third qualifying round of Europa League.

“The Georgians did not deserve to win the first leg. I told my young boys that they would have lots of such games ahead. When they have advantage and lose. It is football and that is why we love it. “Dila” Gori is an organized team which has qualified players. However, I do not know how to characterize the play of this team. I do not like such play because people leave stadium because of it. But in this case it brought success to the opponent. It is impossible not to be scored goal during three matches. It is very stranger. I cannot say whether it is luck or something else. Hopefully, “Dila” will be scored goal in the second leg. We shot the ball toward the net 19 times and had 67 per cent of possessing the ball. “Dila” shot the ball only twice. Our opponent had only one chance and scored goal. We had 5 chances and could not score goal” – the Croatian press cites the words of Tudor.
