Women Grand Prix the 5 th round ended in the capital city of Mongolia, Ulaanbaatar. Chinese Yifan Hou (2577) after draw with Bulgarian Antuana Stefanova (2421) in the last round of the 5 th group became champion of Women Grand Prix. Hou got 8 points in 11 rounds and won Stefanova with 0.5 points. Hou was the only chess-player who did not lose any match in Mongolia. So her victory was quite fair.
After these stages Hou has 320 points. Ulaanbaatar success brought her 6 500 $ and 160 rating point. As a result of it Chinese girl collected 480 points and advanced Georgian Nana Dzagnidze (390) who was the leader with 90 points.
It is other case that Dzagnidze has to play one stage and even the 3rd place will be enough for winning to Hou. Hou will not play in the last round of Grand Prix. Tatiana Kosintseva (2562) got the 3 rd place in Mongolia and is ahead to Dzagnidze with 400 points, but she is not going to play in the last round. So we should not consider her 10point advantage as serious threat.
Maia Chiburdanidze (2514) who is world champion 5 times draw with Chinese Yang Shen (2435) and got the 6 th place with 6 points. Maia collected 70 points and was awarded with 3 250 $ and has 155 total points. Chiburdanidze as well as Dzagnidze will play in the last round which will be held in the capital city of Chile, Santiago. After ending tournament in Mongolia other participants also collected points and there is such total results:

All participants play 4 tournaments of Grand Prix and show 3 best results. Winner chess player of total points will win a right to participate at the World Championship in the last quarter of 2011.
Prize of each tournament is 40 000 EUR. Points and money will be divided by places the following way:
I place: 120 + bonus 40 points, 6 500 EUR
II place: 110 points + bonus 20, 4 750
III place: 100 points + bonus 10, 4 000
IV place: 90 points 3 750
V place: 80 points, 3 500
VI place: 70 points, 3 250
VII place: 60 points, 3 000
VIII place: 50 points, 2 750
IX place: 40 points, 2 500
X place: 30 points, 2 250
XI place: 20 points, 2 000
XII place: 10 points, 1 750
The best 9 participants according to six rounds of Grand Prix will be rewarded the following way:
I place: 15 000 EUR
II place: 10 000
III place: 8 000
IV place: 7 000
V place: 6 000
VI place: 5 000
VII place: 4 000
VIII place: 3 000
IX place: 2 000
