Fernando Gomez sport director and Javier Cabello manager of developing youth affairs of “Valencia” one of the best Spanish clubs arrived in Georgia. They started their one-day visit with meeting  Lado Vardzelashvili Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs … not only this : Gomez and Cabello visited training base of “Dnamo” Tbilisi and met Zurab Kolelikashvili general director of club, Lado Vardzelashvili guided them. Very useful collaboration started with Ministry and “Dinamo”. It is not just club, it is “Valencia”.

45 years old Fernando Gomez played as an attacking midfielder in “Valencia” in 1984-1998. He was one of the favorite players of fans. He finished his career in “Castellon” in 2000. By the way it is not his first visit in Tbilisi, in 1985 he played in U-20 World Championship, when Spanish team lost with Brazil in final. This championship was held in the Soviet Union and the most matches were held in Tbilisi.
Within meeting both sides decided preparation task of coaches, courses for improving qualification of players and other interesting things.
Lado Vardzelashvili: “We had very important meeting. Very experienced guests visited us. A lot of things will be carried out in collaboration with them but the main is selection and finding young talents.  Talented Georgian young players will be given chance of studying at academy of “Valnecia” and improve their qualification. We discussed to hold friendly matches between age teams. We start negotiations for ratification memorandum of collaboration”.
Zurab Pololikashvili: ““Dinamo” Tbilisi has one more grand Spanish friends “Valencia”. Sharing opinions with Fernando Gomez was very interesting, he is very experienced and it will make good job to “Dinamo”. Of course visiting leadership Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs is very important for us. It is good when government collaborates with the club in such way. As far as we know young players do not have big chances to participate in some tournaments abroad and this memorandum will solve this problem. As a rule according to preliminary agreement it is possible to participate in tournaments abroad. Negotiations about memorandum is to start”.
