Yesterday, Besik Liparteliani, president of Georgian Basketball Federation, told “World Sport” that he would call American Taurean Green who plays for Georgian national basketball team and is injured.

Irakli Pertaia, press-attache of Georgian national basketball team, told “World Sport” about it.

According to him, Green mentioned in the conversation with Liparteliani that after 2 days he would know if he needed operation on injured toe. Yet, it is not known whether Green stays in the team or plays at the final tournament of European Championship.

Taurean Green, player of “Gran Canaria”, broke toe while training and perhaps, he will not be able to play till the end of the season.

If Greens confirms that he will not be able to play at the final tournament of European Championship he will be substituted.
