As “World Sport” already informed you, agent Goga Gakhokidze was in Thessaloniki to achieve the agreement about the case of Aleko Chakvetadze. 18-year-old Georgian defender trains in PAOK Greece and deserves the praise from the coach. The coach is well-known Dutch specialist Huub Stevens, who had worked at many strong clubs and in 1997 made “Schalke” to win, the only and the last for now, UEFA Cup.

Probably, you will agree with me that joining one of the best clubs of Greece is not an ordinal thing, we are not so spoilt for such transfers…

We contacted Gakhokidze and asked him not only about Chakvetadze, but about other things too:

- What was decided in Greece?

- It can be say, that transfer of Chakvetadze to PAOK is almost decided. They will send us a contract and the football player also will acquaintance the conditions. Aleko is practicing with the first club and they really like him.

- Do you know Huub Stevens? Have you talked to him?

- Of course I know him well. This time I have not talked with him, however, he knows that I am the agent of the Georgian football player.

- Your comment was published on the website of PAOK.

- They remembered, that I scored against PAOK at UEFA Cup in 2002, when I was playing for PSV. We have won 4:1. I scored a free-kick. When we played in Thessaloniki, I remember how noise were fans. Today is the same situation. Three days ago I attended the match of PAOK – “Ergotelis”, it was 1:1 and at the last minute PAOK scored the decisive goal and the stadium was almost destroyed.

- Whether PAOK or other Greek club is interested in any other Georgian football player?

- There are talks but let’s wait until January.

- In summer, extensively were writing about the possible resignation of Guram Kashia. Is there anything new in this case?
