Giorgi Edisherashvili won gold medal in 55kg at European Championship. The Georgian wrestler beat Vladislav Andreyeu of Belarus in three periods.

The first period ended up draw. Andreyeu took out the ball of his color and advanced. In the second period Edisherashvili equalized the score and then, won the decisive period 2:1.

Before the final Giorgi Edisherashvili beat Yashar Aliyev of Azerbaijan, El Ouarraque of France and Artem Gebekov of Russia.
