Soon, European Individual Women Chess Championship 2011 will be held in Tbilisi. “Sheraton Metekhi Palace” will host the tournament on May 6-19.

Gia Giorgadze, president of Georgian Chess Federation, will be director and Nana Aleksandria will be head referee of the tournament.

It is worth mentioning that games of the best chess players will be broadcast on internet.

131 sportsmen from 26 countries will participate in the championship.
