“World Sport” asked Gia Isiani, manager of “Dila” Gori, what is the situation in the club now. Last two Euro seasons “Dila” plays well at Euro tournaments and it will be pity if the composition of the team will fall apart.

“So far, only Irakli Modebadze is officially gone, who will continue his career in “Dinamo”. The contract is ended for everyone, however we are trying to keep them”.

We discussed again the issue of government funding, which seems to be the main subject of discussion this winter.

“As you know we already had meeting with Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs and another meeting is scheduled on Saturday at 13:00. It is good that the government and private clubs are on the same opinion. I just wonder why financing the club by the government is not acceptable in Georgia, when, for example in Belarus Bate has aid and achieves a wonderful results”.
