Georgian Water Polo Team Lost to Greece

The Georgian water polo team, which participates in the European Championship 2014 in Budapest (Hungary), hold the second match and lost to Greek team 6:15. However, in some episodes showed a good game.

Recall that the Georgian water polo players are among Europe’s top 12 teams for the first time and nobody can request high results from them. In order to get experience, the current matches are very important.

The fate of the meeting was decided in the first half, which the Georgians lost 2:10. The second half was more promising. The Georgian players looked much better and lost with only one ball difference – 4:5.

It should be also noted that opponents made 26-26 kicks, however the Greek were much more accurate.

Marino Franicevic was the best with 2 goals in the Georgian national team and as for Damir Tsrepulia, Marco Elez, Giorgi Khvadagiani and Zurab Rurua, they scored once. Joanis Funtulis was leading the Greek team. He scored 6 goals at once.

July 16 is a day off on European Championship and on July 17 the Georgian water polo players play against Italy.
