Georgian Sensation of Russian Super Final

After 6 rounds of Super Final of Russian the 60th Championship Georgian chess player Nazi Paikidze became leader. She collected 4.5 points among the strongest Russian women chess players.
Paikidze was No.9 seed player among 12 participant chess players. She has already celebrated her fourth victory and became main sensation of the championship.
In the first round Nazi beat Olympic champion Valentina Gunina (2479), then she won over world's No.4 and tournament's No.1 player Tatiana Kosintseva (2581). In the third round, Paikidze played draw with Svetlana Matveeva (2389). Natalia Pogonina (2472) beat Georgian chess player with black pieces.
After this mentioned loss, Georgian talent celebrated two brilliant victories. Paikidze beat world champion Aleksandra Kosteniuk (2507) with black pieces. Also she won over Tatiana Shadrina (2384) with white pieces on the 38th move.
Monday is a day off at the championship which is held in Moscow Chess Players Central House. 11 rounds will be held and the final one is planned on November 27.
On November 23, Paikidze will play against Olga Giria (2435) with black pieces in the 7th round. She has two points. Prize money of the tournament is 1 400 000 RUB. Champion will win 400 000 RUB.
