Georgian Greco-Romans End International Season in Belarus

The capital of Belarus, Minsk will host Greco-Roman international tournament named after Oleg Karavaev. The tournament takes place with team principal and according to the information of Georgian Wrestling Federation 10 countries represent their National Teams including of Georgian, which represents 7-man team at this tournament.

Begi Darchia a head coach of Georgian National Teamhas named those players who will participate in this competition. Some leaders will miss this tournament due to injuries. Lasha Gogitadze (55 kg), Revaz Lashkhi (60 kg), Anton Mamageishvili (66 kg), Genady Gogishvili (74 kg), Vladimer Gegeshidze (84 kg), Mikheil Kajaia (96 kg) and Gura Perseladze in heavy weight will be the representatives of Georgia at this tournament.
Otar Tatishvili will be trainer of Georgian National Team at this competition and Teimuraz Kazarishvili was invited as a referee. Before several months Kazarashvili was a head of Egypt National Team, but yesterday the chairman of federation Malkhaz Jorbenadze stated to “World Sport” that, vice president of federation came back to Tbilisi lately.
After this tournament Georgian wrestlers will compete at Georgian National Tournament, which will be underway at wrestling gym named after Levan Tediashvili, which is the possession of Judo Federation and is named after Shota Chochishvili. It will be held on December 22-23.
