Georgian judo team won bronze medal at the World’s team Championship. The team, coached by Irakli Uznadze, defeated Brazil 3:2 in repechage final. Nugzar Tatalashvili (73 kg) and Varam Liparteliani (90 kg) won their meetings, Avtandil Chrikishvili (81 kg) got a point, because he had no opponent, Shalva Kardava (66 kg) and Adam Okruashvili (+90 kg) lost.

The Georgian team lost the chance of gaining the highest title in semifinal, by losing to Japan 1:4. Before this meeting, the Georgian team overcame Czech (5:0) and Kazakhstan (4:1).
