Georgian National Basketball Team finished qualifying round of European Championship with victory. Division A match of group C which was held in Tbilisi Sport Palace Georgia beat Bulgaria 94:83.

After losing first half 41:48, hosts managed to mobilize possibilities and in 3/4 advanced.

Viktor Sanikidze was the best player of the match, he collected 27 points and rebounded 11 times. Zaza Pachulia collected 14 points and rebounded 12 times. Manuchar Markoishvili gained 14 points.

American player Koloev gained 17 points from Bulgaria.
