Georgian Elene Gedevanishvili took the sixth place at Grand Prix of figure skating which was held in Japan. Miyagi ISU GP NHK Trophy 2012 had 9 participants. Elene took the sixth place in short and free programs.

Gedevanishvili earned 57.50 points in short program and 99.46 points – in free one (43.54 for technical elements+56.92 for program components).

Overall, the Georgian sportswoman earned 156.96 points. She was ahead of Ksenia Makarova of Russia (156.52), Sofia Biryukova of Russia (139.12) and Haruka Imai of Japan (145.42).

Mao Asada of Japan and Akiko Suzuki of Japan were favorites of Grand Prix. Asana earned 185.27 points and Suzuki – 185.22.
