As it was expected, the both two Georgian teams easily overcame the first round (4:0) of Chess Olympiad in the city of Norway, Tromso. The Georgian women chess players defeated Kyrgyzstan and men chess players beat Nigeria.  

All favorites won their games in the first round.

In the second round the Georgian women will face Montenegro. Dzagnidze, Khotenashvili, Melia and Batsiashvili will play in today’s round.

The Georgian men will play IBCA. Jobava, Pantsulaia, Nigalidze and Shanava will play today.

The games will start at 16:00 Tbilisi time.
