Gagunashvili Shares the First Place

 

 

Georgian chess player Merab Gagunashvili (2592) did well at 5th KiiT International Chess Festival -2013 which was underway in the city of India, Odis.

Georgian grand-master gained 8 points in 10 rounds and shared the first place with Tajik Farukh Amonatov (2616) according to the additional points he took the second place. Gagunashvili earned 17 points to his ranking. 

Armenian Zavem Andriasyan (2608) shared the third-fourth place with Levan Pantsulaia (2563) with 7.5 points. The third Georgian participant, Mikheil Mchedlishvili (2645) took the seventh place with 7.0 points.
