Mikheil Gabrichidze will head the Georgian Basketball Federation for the next 4 years.

32 from 40 delegates participated in the elections. Others left the hall. Two ballot papers were annulled. Mikheil Akhvlediani received one vote. Mikheil Gabrichidze became a president with 29 votes.

“I want to thank everybody. Hopefully, we will choose a right way. I want to thank the previous president for the work he had done. I am thankful for Boisa and Shengelia for their support”, - stated Gabrichidze.
