Today Georgian U-21 team started preparation for the next match in selective group of European Cadet Championship which will be held in 2011 in Denmark. Head of Cadet Team Nodar Gabelia at the conference which was held in gym of the stadium named after Mekheil Meskhi stated that he will train only 14 footballers before match with Armenians. This match will be held on August 11 in Armenia. Jano Ananidze, Giorgi Ivanishvili, Giorgi Iluridze and Nika Dzalamidze due to their club matches will fly in Yerevan on August 9. Georgian main team will leave for Yerevan on the same day and will stay at “Razdan” hotel if anything does not change.
Otar Gabelia mentioned that coaches of team are well -informed about competitor’s real opportunities. Georgians could manage to get video record of the play between Armenia and Estonia cadet teams.(Armenians won 3:2). Head coach said that Estonia could not play well or Armenians played much better than their competitor.

“ In any case we will play with serious competitor. As you see no one is out-sider in our group- even Ireland, which is on the last place. Armenian team is quite strong competitor,”-said Gabelia.

Coach of cadet “Crusaders” expressed regret that due to exaggerated limited yellow cards Murtaz Daushvili and Revaz Barateli will not be able to help team in this match. He also talked about Levan Kenia. According to him, team doctor communicates to him constantly and he is answered that Kenia has not already started training.

Head coach of U-21 said –“ Bakar Mirtskhulava 18 year-old vice-captain of Portugal” Benfica”is very interesting footballer and in other case I would not call up for match with Switzerland. During that week, which he spent with team, I was paying attention to him and he was not better than other footballers in his position. He and others are in expanse 35 –man list. If we do not call them up now, it des not mean that we do not pay attention where and how they play.”

Gabelia was obliged to talk about team plans for the next selective matches:” If competitors give us chance I want to get 9 points. From the beginning our goal was the following-  to show maximum opportunities. Till today our footballers have been doing their best and promise us strong fight for the next matches.”

We remind you rules of European Cadet Championship. Play-off will be held on October 9 and 13. Play-off couples will be teams which will be winner of 10 selective matches and four team which will win the second places. (Host country automatically will go through final).The  best teams on the 2th places will be found out according to their points with teams which will take 1st, 3^rd, 4^th and 5^th places in their groups. It is known that Georgian and Armenina Cadet Teams will meet each other in public stadium named after Vazgen Sargsyan. Referees will be Macedonian Dimitar Metskarovski. Match will start at 18:00 Tbilisi time.
