On February 9, 2011 Georgian National Team plays friendly match against Armenian National Team in Cyprus and against Pole National Team in Poland on August 10.
Georgian Football Federation confirmed the information about friendly match against Armenian National Team and as for Pole one, they said to “World Sport” that there are still negotiations. An official web-site of Pole Football Federation spreads information that it is already decided to hold friendly match against Georgian National Team.
On February supposedly rivals were considered National Teams of Luxemburg and Slovakia, but both of these matches have been excluded. Finally Georgian side agreed with Armenian side.  
Georgian and Armenian National Teams have met 4 times before. In 1997 Georgian National Team won over Armenian team 7:0 in the capital of Georgia, Tbilisi. In 2000 in the city of Cyprus, Limassol Georgian team won 2:1 and in the same year the match between those teams ended 0:0 in the capital of Armenia, Yerevan. In 2004 Armenian Team won over Georgian one 2:0 in Nicosia.
Georgian team played against Pole one in qualifying round of championship in 1998. In June of 1997 Pole National Team beat Georgian one 4:1 in the city of Poland, Katowice. Georgian team managed to take revenge on Pole National Team in Tbilisi in October of the same year 3:0.
