Four Zeros from Warsaw

The first day of World Cup which is underway in the capital of Poland, Warsaw was unsuccessful for Georgian National Judo Team. Today champions and prize-winners will be found out in 60, 66 and 73 weight categories. Four Georgians started competing and lost chance of winning top three places.
Ambako Avaliani (73 kg) managed to beat Jew Iosif Palelashvili and Chinese Vei Liu and lost with Romanian Costel Dankuela in 1/8 final. Tengiz Paposhvili who competes in the same weight category won over Turkish Seser Huisuz and lost with French Amoro.
Davit Asumbani (60 kg) and Giorgi Shoshiashvili (66 kg) put on kimono only once.  Obstacle for Asumbani was German Robert Kopiske and for Shoshiashvili – Russian Kamal Khan-Magomedov.
Tomorrow champions and prize winners will be found out in 81, 90, 100 and +100 weight categories. Paata Ghviniashvili (81 kg), Giorgi Tsotsiashvili (90 kg), Davit Loriashvili (100 kg) and Adam Okruashvili (+100 kg) are to represent Georgia.
