Five Medals of Five Karatekas

On March 10-14 were held IV international games in none Olympic kind of sport in the city of Israel, Eilat. More than thousand athletes from 10 countries participated in 22 kinds of sport. Georgia was represented at this tournament only with 5 Karatekas.  All of them managed to win medals, three of them won golden medal and 2 of them silver one.  
Nika Mamagulashvili (14-15 y.o. +63 kg), Giorgi Jikia (16-17 y.o. – 68 kg), Henry Vekua (+18 y.o. – 68 kg) won gold medals. Shota Gorelashvili (16-17 y.o. – 68 kg) and Davit Tkebuchava (+18 y.o. – 60 kg) won silver medals.
It is worth mentioning that Georgian diaspora playing big role that Kakha Basilia President of Confederation of Georgian Martial Arts held official meetings with Israeli Minister of Sports and chair-man of sport committee of Israeli Parliament, with leadership of Venice Sport Institute and President of Federation of None Olympic Sports. They reached agreement with several topics. There is to hold meeting between Georgiana and Israeli Ministers of Sports who will sign agreement of collaboration.   
Vinget Institute showed readiness of preparing Georgian specialist of martial art. Also there is panned to hold the same type tournaments in Georgia too next year.
