On March 22 and 23, 18-year-old Georgian alpine skier won 2 gold medals at giant slalom at the international tournament which was held in the city of USA, Stratton. It is worth mentioning that Dimitri is brother of Elene Gedevanishvili. These are first medals at the tournaments held by FIS. 127 sportsmen participated in the tournament on the first day and 115 ones – on the second day.
