Georgian seniors and youth sambo team finished World Championship with team gold medal. Russian team won silver medal.
Today, at Sports Palace, champions and prize winners among U-18 and U-20 men and women were found out in 3-3 weight classes. Georgian sambo players won 2 gold, 1 silver and 4 bronze medals.
Lasha Giunashvili (56 kg), member of seniors team, and Genadi Chirgadze (57 kg), representative of youth team, became champions. Members of seniors team Mikheil Chokeli (70) and Aleksandre Tvildiani won silver and bronze medals. Also, bronze medal winners are: Archil Shinjikashvili (U-20, 100 kg), Tsira Abuladze (U-18 girls, 48 kg) and Shorena Saradze (U-20 girls, 64 kg).
