A 20-year-old Georgian tennis player Anna Tatishvili participated in two semifinals at Albuquerque tournament but she could not manage to go through the finals.
In the semifinal of singles tournament No.5 seed Tatishvili was beat by American Lee-Waters 0:6, 3:6. Lee-Waters is in the 229th place at Women's Tennis Association (WTA).
In doubles tournament No.3 seed duet of Tatishvili and German Woerle played against No.1 seed duet of Spears and Washington and they were beat 7:5, 6:3, 7:10.
Georgian tennis player earned 50 rating points for going through the semifinal of Albuquerque tournament. So, she will advance in classification. Now Tatishvili has 436 points and is in the 152nd place.
In the final of Telavi ournament (25 000 USD) No.4 seed Melanie Klafner was winning over No.3 seed Ukrainian Irina Buryachok 3:6, 6:0, 3:0 but the opponent refused to continue playing. In the final of doubles tournament No.1 seed duet of Kalashnikova and Austrian Klafner was beat by Ukrainian Kapshay and Romanian Shatmar 1:6, 6:2, 8:10.
