The Georgian national basketball team is in the last 24^th place on a renewed ranking. It was not unexpected because the team of Igor Kokoskov lacks two important players. Here is what FIBA-Europe writes.

“The withdrawal of Tornike Shengelia - who was playing NBA Summer League with the Brooklyn Nets recently - is a massive blow to a squad already missing another influential big man in Zaza Pachulia”.

Spain is leading Group C. The current champion of Europe is in the 4^th place on the ranking. Host Slovenia is in the 5^th place, Croatia – in the 10^th, Poland – in the 17^th and Czech Republic – in the 22^nd.

Greece, Lithuania and France are leading the ranking. The Greeks have perfect team. Lithuania and France won test games. The Lithuanians defeated Belgium twice (86:61, 66:53) and the French – Finland (101:93) and Germany (89:84).
