Superleague has started in Ukraine and in the first round the clubs of the Georgian basketball players played against each other. “Dnipro Azot” of Levan Patsatsia hosted “Donetsk” of Giorgi Tsintsadze and defeated it 78:94.

“Dnipro Azot” was losing 7 points before the last quarter but the club lost the last 10 minutes 12:21. It is worth mentioning that “Donetsk” had 37 assists which is the all-time record of Superleague.

Tsintsadze who was in lineup earned 3 assists. He played for 12:44 minutes. Giorgi scored 1 from 4 2points and gained 1 rebound. The Georgian had 1 personal fouls and 1 turnover.

Patsatsia was in lineup too. He played for 35:28 minutes, earned 11 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists.

The Georgian forward scored 4 from 9 2 points and all three free throws. He missed 4 3 points, had 1 turnover, received 1 foul and 4 fouls were committed against him.

American basketball players were best in both clubs. Donald Sims of “Dnipro Azot” earned 28 points. Guests Ben McCauley (27) and Marco Killingsworth (24) brought victory to their club.

On 20 October “Dnipro Azot” will host “Dnipro”. On October 18 “Donetsk” will host “Azovmash” Mariupol. On October 13 the club of Tsintsadze will play “Spartak” Saint Petersburg.
