European Judo Union Awards Beka Ghviniashvil

 

Beka Ghviniashvili a wrester in 90 kg weight category of Georgian national wrestling team could not manage to gain a medal at “Warsaw European Open Tournament” which was held at the last weekend, but he received a special prize from European Judo Union-“Fair Play Special Certificate”. The sportsman who won all the titles among youth lost in the second circle of Pole tournament with Hungarian Christian Toti. Hungarian sportsman stopped fighting due to pain of leg. Beka helped injured sportsman to leave the tatami.

“We often say and proud that judo is more than kind of sport. It is a slogan of European Judo Union and today we saw a brilliant example of the determination and sport spirit. Beka Ghviniashvili showed all this. We awarded him with a special prize”-reports the official web-site of European Judo Union.
