Liparteliani Helped Europe

Europe defeated Asia at the Team Challenge. Avtandil Chrikishvili (81 kg) and Valeri Liparteliani (90 kg) participated in the competition which took place in the city of Russia, Tyumen.

Liparteliani beat Kyu-Won Lee of South Korea by waza-ari. Chrikishvili lost to Yakhyo Imamov of Uzbekistan by yuko.

Europe and Asia wrestled each other with mixed teams. The Europeans won 10 from 14 fights and the Asians – only 4.

Alesya Kuznetsova of Russia (48 kg) won over  Urantsetseg Munkhbat of Mongolia, Naohisa Takato of Japan (60 kg) -  Arsen Galstyan of Russia,  Andreea Chitu of Romania (52 kg) -  Yuki Hashimoto of Japan, Giorgii Zantaraia of Ukraine (66 kg) - Azamat Mukanov of Kazakhstan, Telma Monteiro of Portugal (57 kg) - Sumiya Dorjsuren of Mongolia, Dex Elmont of Holland (73 kg) - Khashbaatar Tsagaanbaatar of Mongolia, Kana Abe of Japan (63 kg) - Anicka van Emden of Holland.

After the loss of Chrikishvili the score became 5:3. Laura Vargas-Koch of Germany (70 kg) defeated Seong-Yeon Kim of South Korea. Liparteliani increased the advantage of Europe up to 4 points – 7:3.

Jung-Eun Lee of South Korea (78 kg) gained the last point from the Asians. He beat Abigel Joo of Hungary. Then, Henk Grol of Holland (100 kg) defeated Soyib Kurbonov of Uzbekistan, Lucija Polavder of Slovenia (+78 kg) -  Jung-Eun Lee of South Korea and  Alexander Mikhaylin of Russia (+100 kg) -  Iurii Krakovetskii of Kyrgyzstan.
