Today the Georgian national team will hold the last game of EuroBasket against Spain. After losing to Czech Republic, our team lost a theoretical chance of going through the next round. However, the Georgian fans (about 80-100 fans attended the previous games) are going to attend the game and support the boys. At the previous games they were equipped with drums, flags, hooters and megaphone.

Today more Spanish fans are expected to attend the game in Celje. They walk in the city, drink beer and wine. They are sure that Spain will win today’s match and will achieve success at EuroBasket. We talked to members of two Spanish groups. They highlighted beautiful play of the Georgian national team against Poland, Croatia and Slovenia. Our team could not play well against Czech Republic.

In Lasko where guest teams live at “Thermana Lasko” hotel is raining cats and dogs today. It is cold here. It was hot the previous days. It was unpleasant that 100-150 meters from the hotel tourists notice snakes. The locals told us these snakes are not dangerous. They do not bite and do not come close to the hotel. The tourists calmed down that after the rain snakes are hiding…

In Lasko we met and talked to coaches and some players of the Croatian national team. They were happy by beating Slovenia. Yesterday president of Croatia and some officials arrived in Celje by cars. They attended Croatia-Slovenia game.
