Georgia National Judo will continue joint training in Germany for championship of Europe, which will take place on 25-28 April in Budapest. Irakli Uznadze head coach of the team included 9 athletes in the application form. Under the new rule, each team may lead the continent's Championship 9 judokas.
German training in, which starts on April 10, will involve Amiran Papinashvili (60 kg), Lasha Shavdatuashvili (66 kg), Nugzar Tatalashvili, Zebeda Rekhviashvili (73 kg), Avtandil Čhrikishvili, Levan Tsiklauri (81 kg), Valery Liparteliani (90 kg), David Loriashvili (100 kg) and Adam Okruashvili (+100 kg).
On 30-31 March in Samsun Grand-Prix only Loriashvili and Rekhviashvili wrestled at from these nine judokas. The first won a bronze medal, while the second one stopped competition in the 1/8 final.
After returning from Germany, the team will continue preparing in Borjomi base.
