Dzagnidze Is the Third, Khotenashvili - the Tenth

 

Humpy Koneru of India (2597) is leading the second stage of Grand Prix 2013-14 which is underway in Dilijan. The Asian has 5.5 points and is half point ahead of Anna Muzychuk of Slovenia (2593).

In the 7th round Muzychuk defeated Nana Dzagnidze of Georgia (2550) with white pieces. Dzagnidze is in the 3rd place with 4.0 points. In the previous round Nana won over compatriot Bela Khotenashvili (2531) who after that played draw with Olga Girya of Russia (2436). Khotenashvili is in the 10th place with 2.5 points.

Today the 8th round games will be held in Armenia. Dzagnidze will play Antoaneta Stefanova of Bulgaria (2531) with white pieces. Khotenashvili will face Tuvshintugs Batchimeg of Mongolia (2316) with black pieces.
